KEY_OBJECTIVE
Deploying a high-performance system capable of handling concurrent enterprise loads with bank-grade security.
01. THE PROBLEM
A fast-growing food delivery startup was experiencing system crashes during peak dinner hours (7 PM - 9 PM) due to unoptimized database locks and high-latency location tracking. They needed a system that could handle simultaneous order matching for 1,200+ drivers.
02. OUR SOLUTION
We re-engineered the backend using a microservices architecture with Node.js and Redis for real-time order state management. We implemented a Geospatial Indexing system using PostgreSQL (PostGIS) to optimize driver allocations, reducing calculation time from 2 seconds to 12ms.
03. THE RESULT
Peak hour stability reached 99.995%. Delivery partner efficiency increased by 22%, and the platform successfully scaled from 1,000 to 15,000 daily orders without requiring further infrastructure upgrades.
